ARRIS and your cable operator-is there cause for concern?
Your cable company offers telephony modems. Recently we became concerned with the issue of privacy and the manufacture of equipment for cable companies. Our concerns were based on several issues that we were unaware of.
During the last several months, we had staff ask cable companies to roll the ip addresses of several staff members which just happened to be our attorney’s. They had been working with former hackers and network engineers and we have uncovered a lot of facts. Though we are still looking into all the facts, we have stumbled across some scary conclusions:
First off, we started looking into why certain ip addresses were getting attacked and why some weren’t. Let’s look at this closer:
1. Observations of ten different IP addresses were looked at.
2. The same parameters appeared each time. The same IP addresses appeared.
3. Examining the parameters have concluded the following:
a. We started looking at the ranges of each attack. We started wire sharking each attack. Documentation is the key.

The conclusion was disclosed by our attorneys base on preponderance of the investigated facts.
1. Touchstone Pictures D/B/A ARRIS Telephony has the ability to track your MAC Address and may have access to surfing information.
2. Cable Companies are required to register your modem, including your name and address.
3. Touchtone Pictures, Universal Pictures and ARRIS have used this information for illegal purposes, hacking and internet maliciousness. They pass this information on to Level Three Communications and Ripe to harass you.
Is there cause for concern? You bet there is.

11 US Networks to be slammed with injuction
Eleven US Networks to be slammed with an injunction with another 28 in the will be heard in the next year. The Injunctions will be placed against the IANA’s local office in California and ten other networks with a whopping $10,000,000.00 fine for every attack. Those networks operating with chat servers specifically target home users for Distributed Denial of Service using IP to IP features. It’s stop or be shut down. The action pertains to the use of unwarranted or unprovoked attacks from networks operating in the United States.
