REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (AP) — A body has been found in a homeless encampment in Redwood City, according to a California Highway Patrol officer.
The discovery of the body, which was found at Walnut Street at Convention Way, was reported to the CHP at about 2:20 p.m. Sunday.
The body was found on California Department of Transportation property that runs under U.S. Highway 101, Officer Aaron Quistad said. It was unknown if the death was being considered suspicious.
The Redwood City Police Department is investigating.
